11/04/07 - For that last few months I've been having a great time working with Broadway * San Diego. Over the summer I worked on Hairspray and Camelot with Lou Diamond Phillips, and coming up around Thanksgiving I'll be doing on The Rat Pack.

09/23/06 - The 2007 opera season will be starting soon, and I'm really looking forward to it. Good news! My work schedule has finally slowed down enough, that I am accepting new clients at the salon. I look forward to seeing you at La Mirage.

04/21/06 - In December and January I worked on the production of Disney's The Lion King. The six week production was exhausting but fun. Currently, I'm working on Julius Caesar in Egypt, the forth production in the San Diego Opera's 2006 season. Coming in May is our last show, Mozart's The Magic Flute

09/11/05 - This July I was in Oklahoma working on the production of "Hello Dolly!". It was very exciting and the first time that I have been mentioned in a production's playbill. During the production, I worked with Sally Struthers, she was great to work with and a very sweet lady. Comings soon there with be a gallery of photos from the "Hello Dolly!" production.

02/21/05 - Today my picture was in the San Diego Union-Tribune newspaper. The photo was of me doing the leading lady's hair and make-up. The article was on the San Diego Opera's production of Così Fan Tutte. My next project will be Simon Boccanegra with the San Diego Opera.

02/08/05 - Announcing the new 2005 Photo Gallery page! Currently this gallery has photos of New Year's Eve at Barona Casino, that night I did the hair for twelve women. With opera season well underway, it's gearing up to be a busy year. I hope to have more photos to share with you.

12/19/04 - Well I just finished Little Shop of Horrors with Broadway * San Diego and I'm getting ready for Oklahoma coming up in January. Opera season begins in January as well; we'll be doing Die Fledermaus, Così Fan Tutte, Simon Boccanegra, Vanessa, and La Bohème. Please visit the San Diego Opera's

07/28/04 - I'm back..... Beginning in August I will be available part time. I am looking forward to getting back to work and seeing everyone.

06/03/04 - Beginning today I'm taking a few weeks of personal time, so I will not be available for work.

04/25/04 - Today is the last performance of The San Diego Opera company's productions of Katyá Kabanová. I am doing the hair and make-up for the leading lady, soprano Patricia Racette and some of the other performers. Next we begin rehearsals for the last show of the opera season, La Traviata, which will run for May 8th to May 19th.

02/23/04 - The San Diego Opera company just finished it's run of The Pearls Fishers. The costumes were created by renowned designer Zandra Rhodes. I was responsible for the hair and make-up for the leading lady. The show was a bit hit! 01/17/04 - A new year is here, and the new season (2003-2004) of opera has begun. Currently, the San Diego Opera company is in production on Turandot. I hope to have some pictures to show you soon.

11/03/03 - I've got two shows coming up at the San Diego Civic Center with Broadway * San Diego. The two productions are 42nd Street from November 4th through the 9th, and Oliver from November 25th through the 30th. Also Opera season is coming up, beginning in January; this season the San Diego Opera will be doing Turandot, The Pearl Fishers, Don Carlo, Katya Kabanova, and La Traviata. I'm not sure yet, how many of these shows I'll be working.

09/20/03 - I did make-up for Mariah Carey's backup singers on August 14th. More recently I did hair and make-up for the executives for the Honda Corporation, for their industrial shows on September 18th and 19th.

04/24/03 - I will be working "Aida" in July and "Momma Mia" in August, both shows will be at the San Diego Civic Theatre.

04/05/03 - The 5th and 6th I did hair for the dancers in the Stuttgart Ballet. They were performing "Romeo & Juliet" at the San Diego Civic Theatre. All the calls were in German it was a lot of fun.

03/24/03 - The 24th - the 26th I worked the Gartner Group industrial show, doing hair an make-up for the executives.

03/19/03 - The San Diego Opera is in production of the third show of the season, Thérèse Raquin.

03/03/03 - I worked the Radio Shack industrial show, where I did hair and make-up for Verne Troyer (Mini-me in the Austin Powers movies), Vanessa Williams, Billy Ripkin, and all the top executives.

01/11/2003 - Last December was in Louisville, working as Head Hair Supervisor for the Kentucky Opera's production of "Don Pasquale". Currently working the last four shows of the Broadway * San Diego production of "The Producers". Recently made head of the Hair and Make-up Department of the San Diego Opera.

8/20/2002 - I will be working with the Kentucky Opera In Louisville, doing La Traviata from October 4th to the 14th.

2/18/2002 - I am proud to tell you that last night, I along with 3 other people won and award for Best Hair for A Theatrical Show at the Beverly Hilton Hotel . The 3rd annual Makeup Artist & Hair Stylist Guild awards. The Show I won for was Magic Flute a Mozart opera I did for San Diego Opera last year! I received this beautiful award. Some of the people who where there were Rick Baker, the man who designed Planet of the Apes, people who work on Moulin Rouge, Ali, Blow, Muholland Drive, Mad TV, and many more. Anyway, there was so much talent in the room! Dustin Hoffman even was there for an award. It was like old time Hollywood. Limos in the drive way, candelabras on the tables, every one dressed to the nines. Jim looked so good in his tuxedo. We had a long drive up and down in the night but it was worth it! Thank you all for you love and support.

1/14/2002 - Today the Hollywood Makeup Artists and Hair Stylists Guild announced the nominations for the third annual Hollywood Make-up Artist and Hair Stylist Guild Awards. I have been nominated for Best Hair in a Theatrical Production (Mozart's The Magic Flute). The winners will be announced on February 17th. You can see pictures of the cast in costume in my photo gallery.

11/16/2001 - The 2002 San Diego Opera Season begins in January. I will be doing hair and make-up for the following productions: Verdi's Rigoletto, Handel's Ariodante, Puccini's Tosca, Donizetti's Don Pasquale, and Wagner's The Flying Dutchman.

Family and friends I want to share a wonderful event in my life! I was asked to be the guest on a KPBS Show called "The Lounge". It is a show about local internment in San Diego. I was the only one on the whole show! It was about opera and my life in hair and makeup. It was really a new world for me. THE SHOW AIRS MONDAY THE 29TH. OF OCTOBER AT 6:30. I hope you will enjoy it!
